The Aftermath Ring captures that moment of dispersal. A broad sweep of metallic gold druzy runs along the edge of deep black onyx, creating the impression of luminous matter spreading into darkness. Sculptural sterling silver frames the irregular stone, while a sweeping gold arc and richly textured gold and silver band continue the sense of movement beyond its edges.
Inspired by kilonova—the powerful collisions of neutron stars capable of creating heavy elements such as gold—the Aftermath Ring celebrates what remains after catastrophe: new matter, new possibilities, and the beginnings of something yet to come.
